About Guchiebird's

Guchiebird’s was created in 2006 by husband and wife team, Guch Lombardi and Chuck Spray. Located in Driggs, Idaho in the heart of Teton Valley, the shop is a 45 minute drive from Jackson Hole. A true brick and mortar small business, Guchiebird’s is the shop where gift giving is an art. A particular point of pride for Guch and Chuck is that 90% of Guchiebird’s inventory is made in America. Wanting to share their love of creativity and make art accessible, Guchiebird’s presents pieces that span a wide range of prices. Local Teton Valley artists Philbin de Got, Mary Mullaney, Ralph Mossman, Michele Farrier, Dan Burgette, and Rita and Fred Johnson to name a few, are represented by Guchiebird’s as well as juried artists from across the U.S. and Canada.

Guch will tell you that her favorite craftsperson is her husband, Chuck Spray. He handcrafts guitars in his workshop, Chuck Spray Lutherie, located behind Guchiebird’s. In addition to building guitars, Chuck has offered restorations and repairs on all manner of wooden stringed instruments since 1979.

Together, Guch and Chuck have built Guchiebird’s into a business with a local reputation for friendliness, product knowledge, quality and terrific customer service. After many requests from visitors, they have created this website. Enjoy browsing the selection here but please realize that this is only a small portion of the unique treasures offered at Guchiebird’s. If you do not see an item that you remember from your visit please contact the shop. They will be happy to e-mail you photos of additional products.
